Windows Live Messenger logging itself off in W7

When I installed Windows 7 (Home Premium) on my Packard Bell laptop, suddenly
my Windows Live Messenger started to log off by itself and then I will have
to press "Reconnect" (or whatever it is in English) to log on again. This
problem has only been a problem when I am home, and when I am at school, this
never happens!

It seems to be happening when someone talks to me or I try to talk to them,
but this is just random people/groups and varies from time to time.

Greetings,

Out of curiosity, what version of Windows did you have installed prior to installing 7?

Regardless, it could be an incompatibility with Windows 7's (and Vista's) new networking
autotuning feature. You can do turn it off by opening up an elevated command prompt and
typing the following:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
