Greetings,
Out of curiosity, what version of Windows did you have installed prior to installing 7?
Regardless, it could be an incompatibility with Windows 7's (and Vista's) new networking
autotuning feature. You can do turn it off by opening up an elevated command prompt and
typing the following:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
