To add, if you're really serious about having a Messenger history, you'll probably want to
use something other than Messenger itself for that purpose. For instance Messenger Plus!
Live (
http://www.msgplus.net), does a far better job than Messenger itself as it saves all
the rich part of the conversation (text colours, emoticons, etc.) and doesn't force you to
re-save/delete anything.
