Windows Live Messenger looses connection when starting conversatio

Ok so if i start a new conversation with one of my contacts Live messenger
looses it connection and i have to log back in again.

I then have a period of about 10 minutes where i can start a new
conversation without problem, but after then if i start a new conversation i
loose connection and have to log back in again.

I first had this problem with the Beta (it was fine for months and then
started playing up) so i downgraded to 8.1 and got the same problem.


I have Zone Alarm IM scanning active but even after i disabled it I kept
getting said problems.

Any ideas?

If you are using a Router, do a Factory Reset and reset the Settings
afterwards, but should help fix the problem.

The thing is I have more than one PC connected to the router and the others
dont seem to be effected.

The problem with Routers is that you can have no problem on the Wireless
side, but can't connect to the Internet from the Wired side. I have had this
problem.

You will not know, if you don't try the fix. But do the Factory Reset
that the Manufacturer recommends for your Model. The time required to reset
the Router varies. Some only require 10 seconds, some 20 and others 30
seconds or longer.
