Windows Live Messenger loses sign in data on reboot.

Every time I reboot my machine, the first time I start Windows Live
Messenger I have to enter all my sign-in data: user name, password, check
automatically sign in, etc. If I exit Windows Live Messenger and start it
again it will login me in automatically. But if I reboot, I have to enter
all the data again.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this problem? I wonder if something
got corrupted and the data isn't really get saved to disk/registry and
rebooting flushes it from memory.

I didn't install any new software so I don't think there is anything
preventing the changes. Although, just before this happened I was getting
some weird messages about the MSN server and not being able to logon, but I
was logged on. I'm thinking I have more of an issue with the permissions of
wherever the data is attempted to be written (the registry or a cookie or
some other file). I noticed that IE7's temporary file location was nearly
full so increased that size as well. Didn't seem to make a difference.
