Windows Live Messenger Needs A reboot Every Time I Try To Access M

I just updated my Live Messenger last week, and now the only way I can access
my mail is to reboot the computer. If messenger is running after I read my
mail, I can not open the mail again without a reboot. I am running Vista Home
Premium 64. This is annoying to say the least. Any one else have this problem
or a solution???

Greetings,

This isn't a known problem and we'll need more information to help. What method and
application are you using to access "your mail"? Also, what exactly happens when you try
after running Messenger?

This might be linked to the problem I have been experiencing since upgarding
to latest version of messenger and live mail - which is that the process
wlmail.exe needs to be terminated manually before the mail inbox can be
accessed through messenger's interface once more.

I have discussed this in a thread in the mail desktop forum ("Wlm startup
problem...").
