Thank you for your response. Yes the System restore was one of the first
things I did. sorry I did not mention it. It proved no success. I have since
gone through every driver that Acer has listed for the HD Audio Device and
only two of them will let me send voice i.e. talk through the WLM. the
others will let me receive, very clearly, but no transmit. I can record
voice message and play it and the other party will hear it clearly. It seems
the path from the driver to WLM just is not there on the send side. Again, if
there are any suggestions, please respond.
