Windows Live Messenger Problem- Please Help!!

Hi, I am running Vista Home Premium with Windows Live Messenger. When I try
to have Webcam Conferences the whole of the Messenger freezes for about 5
minutes where it says 'Messenger cant connect you to ...., Please try again
later' this is the same for when i try my webcam and the contact webcam and
its quite annoying. This has been happening ever since i got my new computer
with Vista on it.

any ideas on how to fix this would be much appreciated

Sounds like it could be a driver issue on your webcam. Does your webca
work ok outside of Live Messenger? I have Vista Home Premium 64-bi
w/Live Messenger as well and I don't have a problem with my Creativ
Instant Webcam. It did take a bit to get the driver to work ok from th
32-bit to 64-bit version of Vista though.
