Windows Live Messenger Restarts PC When Chatting

Windows Live Messenger restarts my PC after a few moments of beginning a
normal text conversation.

When windows starts up again it reports having a serious error.

The error information from the event viewer is as follows:

Error code 000000f4, parameter1 00000003, parameter2 ff4ea020, parameter3
ff4ea194, parameter4 805f9f88.

This is usually the result of buggy display driver, webcam driver or audio driver which
Messenger is trying to access.

You may want to visit Windows Update (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com) and see if there
are any driver updates. Alternatively, you should also visit the manufacturers' web sites of
the devices I just mentioned and see if there are any updates for the devices there.

I have checked windows updates and I am fully up to date and all my drivers
are up to date.

I'd like to point out again that this crash is occuring when a normal
instant messaging conversation has been going for a few moments this is not
during a video or audio conversation or when sending audio clips.

But that "normal instant message conversation" window also uses a video
driver to show you that exact video. It also uses an audio driver to alert
you about a receiving message, a new email etc...

I can tell that 90% such error is caused by old or not properly installed
drivers. A recently installed software may caused this as well.
