Windows Live Messenger - Shared Folder

I am experiencing synchronization problem in my shared folder - when I add
files to or create a sub-folder within the shared folder, I've got a Windows
Error Message (with Send Error Message and Not Send buttons) but the
messenger is still running, and I can still talk to my friends and even
transfer files. But the file I just put in cannot be sync. And the messenger
will be closed automatically after a while.

For those files that were previously (before I have this problem) put into
the folder can still be sync. My friends can put their files into the folder
and I can get them. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall messenger but
the problem still persists.

Thanks!

Need some more information:

1. What version of Windows are you using?
2. When did this issue start?
3. Have you tried a System Restore back to the date where it was working
correctly?
4. Do you have any Messenger Plug-ins like MessengerPlus installed?

Thanks Terry.

1. I am using Windows XP Professional w/ SP2
2. I think the issue starts after I have installed Norton Anti-virus. But
the issue remains after I have uninstalled NAV.
3. No. I haven't tried using System Restore.
4. No. I don't have any Messenger Plug-in.
