Hi there

Up to now i've been using the shared folders feature on one PC. However i
have recently switched PCs and the Shared folders option is no longer
available. So far none on the troubleshooting tips have worked. In fact, the
option of transferring my shared folders to this PC never popped up.

Please help

Greetings Element,

Can you open My Computer, right-click on your primary hard drive and choose Properties. Look
under 'File system' and see if it says FAT32 or NTFS.

Assuming the former, you will need to convert the drive to NTFS before you can use Sharing
Folders. To do so, follow these steps:

That option was suggested in the FAQ and i had already confirmed that my
drive was NTFS formatted. That is not the problem.

Any other suggestions?
