Windows Live Messenger sometimes alerts me of new message !

Windows Live Messenger sometimes alerts me of new message and sometimes not!
I am doing very important work where i have immidatelly to reply to messages
and by not letting me know there is message inbox causes a lot of
problems.Does anyone knows what could be done?

I assume you mean Hotmail messages. Although the feature has been reliable for me lately, it
is entirely server-based so there isn't a lot you can do if you're having trouble.

You may want to consider running another application which can notify you of Hotmail e-mail
if it's entirely critical for you. Such as Microsoft Outlook or the new Windows Live Mail
