Rik,

In Windows Live Mesenger settings, you can set it so that only people on
your contact list can IM you.

Go to Tools ->Options -> Privacy Tab, and check the following item
"Only people on my Allow List can see my status and send me messages."

Thanks

Sunny

I know but I can't get online my. When I try to connect to Windows Live
Mesenger , my computer gets jammed. I can't do anything only shut everything
down...
The guy spammed a lot of animated gifs to my account and when I come online
my computer tries to upload them but it is too much to handle.

Trying using WebMessenger, open a CW with the contact and then block them.
http://webmessenger.msn.com

You will still need to "clean out" the OIMs that have been sent to you.

I hope this helps!

Cheers
Nicole

You can try logging on with the Web Messenger service, those messages may
come up as invalid or at least be easier on a web browser. Once they're
past, they shouldn't bother you next time you login, and then you can block
all non-list contacts with the above instructions.
