Ditto. One of the few items in Windows 7 is its vague error reporting:
"Windows Live Messenger has stopped working", "Internet Explorer has
encountered a problem." Very Mac-like and for someone who doesn't want to
be insulated from the errors when they occur (so to correct them, yes?) it's
annoying a least, alarming at best.
