there are other solutions, hey I have tried them all...
1) you can install the older msn 7.5 or even copy the folder from another
computer that has that installed and use it as a "stand alone" edition while
you have live 8.0 installed normally
2) you can use windows messenger
3) you can use AMSN messenger
4) Trillian basic
5) Gaim (get the latest beta)
6) there are many other clients around if you search.... that can connect to
the msn network as well as other networks at the same time...
