Hi,
I have kind of the same thing.
I have version: 8.1.0178.00 on Windows XP sp3 Home EN.
The application doesn't show in my installed software overview
anymore.(installed software overview in Configuration menu) So I can't
uninstall it. 'windows clean up utility from microsoft doesn't show it also.
When I start windows live messenger it forces me to download the latest
version(I can't bypass it to sign in). After downloading/installing it gives
an error(red cross) that messenger is not updated.
How can I clean up the old version and/or install the new version of Windows
Live messenger?
