I uninstalled live messenger 8.5 beta1, but:
1) why the Windows Live Setup service remained installed?
2) and why in c:\program files\ remained some Live messenger files?
bug?
3) I don't like the new "Windows Live Setup" service. Why we need a new
installer? Why we need a new Windows service? Is it not enough the Windows
Installer (MSI)???? In Windows Vista we have the new Windows Installer 4.0
and we'll have 4.1 with SP1, 4.5 is in beta stage. Why Windows Live products
don't use Windows Installer???? What a hell!!!

Greetings,

Presumably so you can uninstall and install more live products. You can stop the service if
it's running still (it is set to manual so it won't autostart with the system), Messenger
will continue to run fine.
