Hi,

I have Windows Vista Ultimate and my msn has been working fine on this
computer for the past year now and now all of a sudden it just won't let
me sign in. It says:

::- ::You cannot use Windows Live Messenger at this time because your
contact list is not available. Please try again later.

Click Help to learn more about your contact list.

Error code: 81000378.
Extended error code: 80072efd.

tried everything that say's in the help page and it is still not
working, including changing some of my internet explorer options:

Start Internet Explorer.
• On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the
Advanced tab.
• In the Security section, make sure that the following check boxes are
set correctly:
o Clear the Check for server certificate revocation check box.
o Select the Use SSL 2.0 check box.
o Select the Use SSL 3.0 check box
• Click OK to close the window

Also, I ran the Commands that were listed in the help page, but I
receive errors when trying to run some of them:

- regsvr32 softpub.dll (DIIRegisterServer in softpub.dll succeeded)
- regsvr32 wintrust.dll (The module "wintrust.dll" was loaded but the
call to DIIRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005)
- regsvr32 rsaenh.dll (succeeded)
- regsvr32 mssip32.dll (succeeded)
- regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll (The module "cryptdlg.dll" was loaded but the
call to DIIRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80004005)
- regsvr32 dssenh.dll (succeeded)
- regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll (The module "gpkcsp.dll" failed to load. Make
sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check
for problems with the binary or depandent .DLL files. The specified
module could not be found).
- regsvr32 slbcsp.dll (The module "slbcsp.dll" failed to load. Make
sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check
for problems with the binary or depandent .DLL files. The specified
module could not be found).
- regsvr32 sccbase.dll (The module "sccbase.dll " failed to load.
Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to
check for problems with the binary or depandent .DLL files. The
specified module could not be found).
- regsvr32 initpki.dll (The module "initpki.dll " failed to load.
Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to
check for problems with the binary or depandent .DLL files. The
specified module could not be found).
I really do not know what to do. I have tried to look for the two error
codes I received which are above however I was unable to find a solution
to either one on the internet. Someone please tell me what to do, I have
been trying to find a solution for more than a week now.

Thank you
