OK... just insalled and it's cool! But I don't want to see any of the adds
when startting up windows live app. I'm exposed to enough crap/spam during
my day as it is now. So how do I get ride of the spam, or if there is no
way, how do I remove the live? Is microsoft hurting for $$$$$$?

Greetings,

Which ads and which program are you referring?

If you're referring to the "welcome screen" you get when you first sign into Messenger, after
the first few, it won't show up anymore. If you're referring to the Windows Live Today
screen which will appear by default, you can turn that off by opening up any Messenger
window, pressing the Alt key on the keyboard to active the menu bar, choosing Tools, then
Options, choose the Sign In category and uncheck 'Show Windows Live Today after I sign in to
Messenger'.
