When using webcam, will call a contact and they will answer but no audio or
video is present. The video area shows advertisements. Another contact works
fine. What is the problem with the first contact?

Greetings Jef,

So is it actually connecting ("Connection established" in the window), or does it just try
and give up?

If the latter, they may be on a restrictive network of some kind that doesn't allow what
you're trying.

It shows that they have answer the call, and the loading starts and completes
and then waiting for contact shows with the advertisement in the box and that
is where it sits. I will ask about a network restriction. Thanks "Jonathan"

Hi Jef,

You might wish to ask your friend, if your friend is going through a
Router. The Router may not be configured properly. Or some of their Windows
Services may not be Enabled or running.

The problem would be on their end not yours, since you can contact
others and see them.

Greetings Sophie,

How about trying another application to do this, like Skype (www.skype.com)?
