Windows Mail - Cant delete one email in outbox with attachment

Hi all

I have an email stuck in the outbox which I cannot delete. Im using Vista
RC2 with Windows Mail. When i choose to delete it, i get "an unknown error
has occurred".

How do i get rid of it?

See if the actual file is present in the outbox directory. I suspect its
not and there is a mismatch in the database and you probably can't fix it.

I just checked and my outbox directory is full of zero byte files in RTM.
Guess they didn't fix that one either.

I got the same thing this morning. I received the email yesterday and looked
at it and it was fine. Got up this morning to move it and get the "an
unknown error has occurred"

I also have the same problem. It commences with a circular from Tesco which I
can't even read, let alone delete.
Steve - when this started I didn't even have a Virus checker loaded so it
probably is not caused by intrusive checkers.
Incidently, I also have a problem with everything hanging. This occurs at
irregular intervals and even as soon as the blue ball is on the screen before
the welcome page.

I am having the same proble in that there is a msg in the outbox that is
stuck there. Can't delete or move it nor send any emails

I am having the same problem with a msg stuck in the outbox and thus not
sending any emails.
Can not delete or move the msg.

Have you had any luck in removing the msgs

Hi Rodney,

None my attempts resulted in success. As you may know by now your problem is
the same problem a whole lot of people also face.

If someone from Microsoft, can please put some closure to this it would be
really good, right?
