Windows Mail can't send the email

my windows mail can receive emails correctly from gmail but i can't any email
with it. i try to set the POP3 to the 995 by uncheck the box under it. but it
doesn't work.
i am wondering what happen?

Follow the steps and make the proper changes :
Tolls > Accounts > your gmail account > Properties > Advanced.......
1. ) Outgoing Mail ( SMTP ) 465
put a checkmark on SSL box
2. ) Incoming Mail ( POP3 ) 995
put a checkmark on SSL box.
When those done, click OK.
For your information :
If you cannot SEND, that's SMTP problem. Do not mess with POP3 setting.
If you cannot RECEIVE, that's POP3 problem. Do not mess with SMTP setting.

It is more advisable to ask first instead of " trial/error " with the
settings. It could have gone so far wrong that you had to remove the account
and start fresh. You don't want to do that.
