Windows Mail Deletes Read Messages

My Windows mail has started to completely delete messages that I have
read and deleted. That is, deleted read messages just disappear; they do
not go to the deleted messages folder.

On the other hand, unread messages that are deleted DO go to the
deleted messages folder.

This just happened out of the blue.

Open deleted items and go to view and see if only unread is set and not
view all.

Hi,

Click View/Current View/Show all messages. You are likely set to hide read
messages.
