windows mail error message

i cannot send and recieve mail and keep getting the same error message posted
below any ideas??

POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number:
0x800CCC0D

The server pop.orangehome.co.uk is alive and well.
The fact that your computer can't find it indicates a DNS lookup problem.
Try rebooting.

However, several others have reported the same issue with that
server. It may have been a temporary glitch.
