Windows Mail Export Question

Have searched and read this group for my question. Close but still confused.
Q1.) I notice the "Name" column in the backup email folder copy is all
letters and numbers. If I hover the cursor the info pops up in a box. Will
the original info from each email name be restored if I Import this backup to
my computer ??
Q2.) After I copy the Exported files from my hard drive to a DVD I want to
delete the intermediate copy from my hard drive. When I try to do this I get
request for permission and a "Do you want to continue" prompt. I say yes over
and over and select yes to all but finally gave up and cancelled out.
How do I delete the inntermediate file copy off my hard drive ?
Appreciate any help.

Q1: Yes. The filename is only the filename. The actual message properties
are part of the message which is intact as an eml file.

Q2: Try rebooting. Something may have locked those files and if you reboot
then maybe you can delete them. Also, when copying to a DVD, always make
sure you verify the written copy. There have been innumerable people who
don't and have found their "backups" were actually a bunch of zeroes because
the burn didn't burn properly.

Thanks much. Advice was right on. DVD burned and checked. Intermediate file
copies deleted.
Thanks again
