I lost all my local folders that held and organized all my important emails.
I tried System Restore but that doesn't seem to have worked. How can I get
them back?

I just remembered something else to try: For each of the folders, click
on the folder, then View, then Current View, then Show All Messages.
If you don't, already read messages are sometimes hidden.
