If the email download does not finish completely, your email program
will not send a delete command to the server. This means the next
time you connect, all the same emails will be downloaded again.
Connect to the server via webmail, and delete any duplicates you
see, and delete anything else that looks suspicious or unwanted.
It is very likely that there is a corrupted message on the server that
is causing this problem.
If your provider does not offer webmail access, you can do the same
thing at
http://web2mail.com.
