Windows Mail Spellcheck

Really old software, like Outlook Express for example, was able to provide a
good quality UK English Spellcheck, but not Windows Mail, the only English is
US or American English, which has numerous spelling problems for the rest of
the world. When will Microsoft make a gesture and accomodate the software
buyers of the world and offer them correct English, not a version of it? It
has been done before, why not now, or can we get rid of Windows mail and get
Outlook Express back again, that works?

Outlook Express never had a spell check of its own. Development and
production for both OE and Windows Mail ceased in June, 2006. There will
never be any changes to either program and OE will not run in Vista.

You 'could' use Windows Live Mail which does have UK English as an option.
It runs in XP, Vista and Win7. You can also run it along side of Windows
mail, retrieving messages in both, until you feel you are satisfied with
it.

In fact, Microsoft did correct that omission when it released the replacement
email program Windows Live Mail. The latter has spell check for 37 languages
including UK English.

To upgrade to Windows Live Mail: http://download.live.com/wlmail
It will automatically import all your Windows Mail data.
