Windows mail -- won't send mail....

hi,

with Windows Mail, I can only send email to myself.. any email I sent
to any other address gets blocked... (I have configured client
correctly for my email account, I know how to do this and have done it
many times before on different clients.. don't know what I need to do
different in this new Windows Mail... address I'm trying to send to
IS in my contacts...)

It's a known fact that Windows Mail was released before it was ready.
Until MS gets its act together, try using Thunderbird, an excellent mail
client and newsreader. Get it free at www.mozilla.com/thunderbird.

What is the full, verbose error message when you try any other email
address?

It is going to be replaced eventually by Windows Live Mail - which hopefully
will solve the situation.
