Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool KB890830 HELP!!

EVERY time this update loads I have had to uninstall it because it conflicts
with Norton Anti-virus and my Starband Mission Control (my satellite
internet) which it disables Starband. It always is found in add/remove
programs but this time it installed successfully but is not in add/remove
programs. Any suggestions? I need to get rid of this and I am disabling
automatic updates - it always cause issues one way or another. Thanks.

and a good tool from microsoft, try turning off norton anti virus when
downloading
do you have service pack 2 this can cause problems on some computers if so you
can turn it off too. if you still have problems try turning off your
firewall goodluck

Thanks Stockman. I will try that. I have to shut down Norton to get my
internet connection to work now after this last update which defeats the
purpose of having it - in my opinion. I thank you for your response.
