Windows ME Critical Updates will not install

I have downloaded KB867801, KB823353, KB870669 and KB840315 but they will not
install. I have tried the automatic updates twice with the same results, they
will not install. All the answers I look at refer to XP how can I get them
to install on ME. Thank you in advance for your response.

You say you downloaded. Please describe download. E.g. where did you
