Windows ME Updates (Refer to original post of 2/16)

Would anyone care to help me with the resolution to this problem - which was
posted on 2/16/06 - under Windows Update.

I get repetitive updates for WMP9 and for Windows Mellinnium. When I try to
update these, the download box just sits there for over 1/2 hour and nothing
happens.

I'm sure someone else - by reading at the posts - has similar problems.
Please help.

Looks like this issue was resolved on 2006/02/07

If something changed that status you might have been better off reporting it there
(besides having the courtesy to follow up with an answer to PA Bear's last question.)

Thank you for your response. Your are correct, it was resolved on 2/7.
However, I did encounter other situations. My apologies for not getting
back to PA Bear, but I will - and I appreciate the link you have provided.
