Calling that clown a "geek" is an absolute insult to all "geeks".

Ok but that is your personal opinion ...

what is not a personal opinion is what a human eye can perceive well or not.

Although perception is indeed different from person to person, there are
some basic things that have been confirmed, that form a general "rule" on
how humans perceive colors shapes and movement.

There are also optical illusions, that are due to how the brain itself
works...

So although what you are trying to say is if something is beautiful or not,
that has nothing to do with ergonomics. In my opinion ergonomics are the
basis, and then looks and eyecandy must plus that and not get in the way.

You may say ok switch to classic... but I have to repeat again, its not me
who Im thinking about.. but the person who doesn't know much about computers
for example an elderly person who doesn't have good eyesight and most
certainly not know how to change a theme.

About Windows ME: I used it on 4 computers (2 still serve as backups) and
there's nothing wrong with it! People don't realize that Windows OSes are
always evolving, so naturally ME wasn't as good as XP, but a LOT better than
Win95.

I just don't get the ME bashing. When people say it sucked, they never give
specifics.

Yes, we know your take on Vista. Keep ramming it down our throats every few
days because as we get older we tend to forget that Tiberius doesn't like
Vista. When I get old and contract Alzheimer's, your constant reminders
will help me relalize that you don't like Vista. Vista is stupid, people
who use Vista are stupid. Isn't that what you preach?

I don't remember you saying this yesterday, but I'll go look.

Now put a reminder in your Ubuntu calendar to notify us again in 3-4 days
that Vista sucks.

Keep it up!

Tibby, you don't seem to have grasped the concept of the all-important
utility curve...

Bleeding-edge, Mainstream, Late-adotpters... it's a bell-curve.

I would say that the OEM community jumped on the bleeding-edge too soon with
Vista. But that is NOT MS's fault.

Cease and desist until you can show some understanding of utility and open
market economics.

Otherwise, you are a plonker.

Tibby - how long have you used computers?

I'm at (looks at watch) 29 years.
