windows media center problems

wmc closes when i try to open video library and select realplayer downloads.
trys to fix the problem but not always works, trys to restart but tells me a
problem has caused it to close and windows will let me know if there is a
solution . this all worked at one time and i have not changed any thing to
cause this action please help . I posted a more specific set of symptoms
listed in Windows Media Center Closes but have gotten no responses. Help
