Try using System Restore to take you back to a time prior to when this
began; Start Menu\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.
While System Restore should not touch your data files and only restore your
system settings and registry to the point at which they were on the selected
restore date, you should, nonetheless, be sure your data is well backed up.
