Hi,
I have windows xp without any service packs but with fixes.
When I try to install Windows Media Player 10 the windows update site says
something like:
"System Restore is turnd off. If you continue Setup, you will be unable to
use System Restore to restore the version of Windows Media Player that was
included with the Windows operating system that your computer is running. It
is recommended that you click Cancel, turn on System Restore, and then
upgrade to Windows Media Player 10. Bla"
I tried that... I turned on system restore and immediatly system restore
turns itself off again...
Maybe it's better like that... maybe I choose to **** system restore in the
past since it's bullshit anyway especially the auto backup **** etc.
Though I do wonder if windows media player 10 will work on my windows xp
system
I think I installed media 9 without making a backup so it will probably work
ok.
So I am just gonna try it and otherwise microsoft looses one media player
customer lol
Euhm oh yeah one more thing:
Media Player 9 never stored my changed settings like brightness and
saturation etc... tut tut tut.
Bye,
Skybuck.
