windows media player 9

when i copy tracks from a cd, then rename the title, artist, etc. if
necessary, why aren't the file names in windows explorer changed accordingly?

note: i'm not connected to the internet, so i can't get the album info from
there

If you go to WMP's Options - Library, is "Rename music files using rip
music settings" checked?
