I tried to download wmp to no avail it wont download.
where do i go from here?
I have windows media encoder, does that mean anything?

WMP should already be included in a default Windows 7 installation,
unless you have Windows 7 N Edition. In that case, you can download the
Media Feature Pack, which includes WMP:
