i recently purchased a computer with windows 7. i have cd's that i burned
from a system with xp and wmp 11. when i go to rip them to my new computer
everything rips fine, however, everything is listed as unkown artist and the
tracks are just track1, track 2 , etc. i have the download album info from
the internet option marked. when i play these disks on any other computer
running other operating systems the information is all there. these tracks
were originally downloaded via online, they arent record store cd's. the
record store cd's rip fine and display all info and artwork just fine. any
help is greatly appreciated.

WMP won't be able to find any album info for CD's that you burned
yourself. The only way to get info for these is to burn the info on the
actual CD's as CD-Text. You will also need to install the WMPCDText
plug-in to allow WMP to read CD-Text.
