Windows Media on Vista Home Premium

When I put a music cd in my D Drive, I would like to copy the music to my
C:\Users\Brenda-PC\Shared folder but it goes to my library in WM. That's
fine but I also want it in my Shared folder. When I copy it to the Shared
folder, it will not play. Can someone please tell me how to accomplish this
task? TIA

it won't let you share music CD's

What exactly happens when you try to play it? *How* is it failing?
