I'm not entirely clear by your message, are they appearing offline when you're sending these
messages? If so, this happens all the time. The only thing you can do is simply wait awhile
and try again or let them send a message (which re-establishes the connection)
If that's not the case, are you using the handwriting feature? If so, you'll start to get
this happening several hours after you start using handwriting. The only way to fix this is
to shut down Messenger and start it again (signing out/on is not good enough).
