That's why there is Manage Add-ons (Internet Options, Programs tab). E.g.
you can group them by Publisher, only enable ones from trusted publishers
and test with that combination. If that works you don't have to "delete"
anything.
Tip: one direct way of getting to that tab is to Run... (press Win-R and
enter
control.exe inetcpl.cpl,,5
