Windows Messenger Live - Not Installed

Hi,

I'm having problems re-installing Windows Messenger Live.

When I try to install, I receive a message 'Not Installed' and to try later
via the Windows Installer.

I have tried everything suggested for example, checking proxy settings and
cannot get any further.

Any ideas please?

Which version is this? If you mean the released 8.5 version, as a workaround at least, you
can install using the Windows Installer just by downloading and running the following MSI
file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/wlm85.asp

After installation, you'll find Messenger on the Start menu under Windows Live.
