Windows Messenger live shots up CPU usuage to 99%

Hi,

Recently installed Messenger live and whenever I chat to a contact the CPU
usage climbs to 99% and the machine just crawls (XPP on P4 3.2Ghz with 1GB
RAM).

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling - never had a problem with
prevoious version.

Any help or suggestion would be gretaly appreciated

I have the same problem for awhile already.. im still trying to figure out
why! microsoft please give us a hand here!!! all i can say is, the connection
does affect the program going up to 99% CPU, i've been travelling to china
and hong kong alot and i found NO problems working in hong kong, but when im
in china.. i just have restart the computer like every 5 minutes trying to
get a better connection, so its something to do with the connection i know.
