Windows Messenger required for WLM?

I would like to know if Windows Messenger (currently V5.1) is required to
run Windows Live Messenger or if I can uninstall it. Thanks

Greetings Rudy,

Some features, like Application Sharing, Whiteboard and Remote Assistance need Windows
Messenger. If you don't use those, feel free to uninstall Windows Messenger.
