Windows Messenger Sign In Problem after Installing IE7

After installing IE7, I cannot log on using Windows Messenger. The message
is "We were unable to sign you in to .NET Messenger Service, possibly because
of a problem problem with the service or with your Internet connection..."
However, I'm able to sign in with Windows Live Messenger. What's the
problem? Thanks.
