Dear friends,

I have bought a HTC Touch with Windows Mobile 6 and I´m having some troubles
when doing Live Sync.

As soon as I used to reset my phone and setup for the first time use I
started the process to sign on MSN Live as my passport. It took about 3 or 4
minutes to download all my MSN live contacts. It created all the contacts on
contact on Windows Mobile address book and when I signed into Live Messenger
It loaded all my contacts in a right way, showing offline and on-line users.

All right. Now It comes the problem :

I started to sync my HTC with Outlook. It started to sync and merge Outlook
contacts with Live contacts (as possible). It created new users on my WIndows
Live contact list. Now I´ve new users created from Outlook, contacts created
from Live sync and dozens of contacts successful merged.

Now the pain : Everytime from now I use to start the Live sync process It
shows an error and stops operation syncing live contacts. When I sign in into
Live Messenger, now it shows my entire live contacts OFFLINE (on-line contact
is not displayed and identified as on-line).

Can anyone help me to address this problem ?
Thanks in advance!

Regards!

I have the same problem. My "on-line" contacts are shown as off-line, even
though they are currently online. Is there a fix for this?

I have the same problem. Mine is a ASUS636N flashed to WM6 through official
upgrade.

One thing I did do to solve the "not on-online" problem was to log out of
Windows Live, the re-login. This refreshes your on-line contacts. I also
un-installed active-sync 4.5, and don't bother syncing my pda.

I have the extact same problem and don't seem to find anything about it on
google. I have also an HTC touch. If I use the option to switch users to get
all contacts deleted and downloaded again, it becomes really annoying as my
contacts take a while to get downloaded. This seems to happen when new
contacts are added from my laptop.

Join the club, pretty much everyone with WM6 has this problem, surely by now
MS would have found out about this and released a fix. I keep checking for
updates on my device but there hasn't been one to date. I guess we'll have to
wait as usual for solutions...
