Windows Mobile 6 - Live Messenger SYNC Problem

Dear friends,

I have bought a HTC Touch with Windows Mobile 6 and I´m having some troubles
when doing Live Sync.

As soon as I used to reset my phone and setup for the first time use I
started the process to sign on MSN Live as my passport. It took about 3 or 4
minutes to download all my MSN live contacts. It created all the contacts on
contact on Windows Mobile address book and when I signed into Live Messenger
It loaded all my contacts in a right way, showing offline and on-line users.

All right. Now It comes the problem :

I started to sync my HTC with Outlook. It started to sync and merge Outlook
contacts with Live contacts (as possible). It created new users on my WIndows
Live contact list. Now I´ve new users created from Outlook, contacts created
from Live sync and dozens of contacts successful merged.

Now the pain : Everytime from now I use to start the Live sync process It
shows an error and stops operation syncing live contacts. When I sign in into
Live Messenger, now it shows my entire live contacts OFFLINE (on-line contact
is not displayed and identified as on-line).

Can anyone help me to address this problem ?

Hi!

I have the same problem with the same phone and I think that there is a
Windows Live Messenger issue.

I download a new version of WLM for PPC and now everything works fine.

Please contact me by email or by msn at tomorrow and I
will send you the cab installer of the new version of the WLM.

I can't give you the link to download becuase I received from a friend.

To anyone how need to download and try the WLM version that work's fine with
me feel free to download from.

A few tips:

Before you install this WLM you have to SWITCH ACCOUNT from your current WLM
Menu in order to remove your settings.

In some cases it is neccesary to hard reset your phone, not my case.

Dear BOZ@PE,

Thank you very much for the link to the WLM download. This really help to
resolve the problem that i am facing with the messenger. It is now working
fine. I am using EDGE network. I will try with WIFI network later and hope it
will works well too.
