Windows mobile deleted contacts

Hello,

Recently I've lost all my contacts in a windows mobile 6.1 upgrade incident,
I accidentally deleted some of my contacts on my mobile device, and when I
logged in using my desktop windows live messenger I found that I lost most of
my contacts, Is there a way to restore my contacts prior to a date or any
other way to restore those lost contacts?
