Hi.
Is there a registry setting in Vista to stop the home form, from popping up
each time a mobile device is connected. The Guestonly key in 'Windows CE
Services' did this for us under XP but doesn't work under Vista.

Hi,
Unfortunately, I do not know of a fix for Windows Mobile Device Center to
keep it quiet.

Thanks Chris.
I use ftp over activesync and the dialogue just gets in the way. I'm sure
our users are going to be well happy.

Does anyone know when this "bug" will be fixed.

It is a serious pain in the butt that I have to select sync without setting
up every time I reconnect or reboot a device. I reconnect many times an hour
with WM2003/WM5/WM6 devcies, and each time it asks what to do, and more often
then asks if I want to register again, again, again, again, agina, again -----
get the picture.

What was wrong with the GuestOnly mode. It protected the host by not syncing
data, and allowed free access to the device, and the device to be able to use
the USB link to access the internet, which was perfect for development.
