Windows Movie Maker 2.1 compatible with Vista?

I have a project that I have been working on using the XP version.
have the vista at home. It works but i need to save it and reopen it a
school which wouldn't work. If I download the older version 2.1, will i
be compatible with my computer

WMM 2.1 is included in Windows XP SP2. It is not downloadable as a separate
program and it won't work in Vista. WMM 2.0 is available as a download but
I don't know if it is at all compatible with Vista. You can Google for the
download. Get it only from a reputable site.

There is also WMM 2.6 that may also do what you want in Vista
